A couple of weeks ago my husband texted me around 10 a.m. to tell me Madewell was having a major sale without hesitation I jumped on and began to fill up my cart. I snagged up these bad boys 40% off  along with some other items that I'm sure you'll see up on the blog sooner or later. If you happen to get a pair of these flats I suggest ordering a size up. I normally wear 6 1/2 but after trying them on my heel was hanging off the back so I went with the 7 and they fit perfect. I cannot wait to wear them this week.

I love that my husband knows my love of print and J.Crew because when it's gift time he always nails it. I was so happy to find these sitting next to my birthday cake. They are perfect for the summer - which is exactly what I said when I opened them up. These Addie loafers are exactly what I see myself wearing this summer or whenever this weather decides to warm up. How can you go wrong with chambray and polka dot - yes.

Phillip Lim for Target

 

The countdown has begun T minus 5 days till 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target is in stores. I couldn't be more excited I of course can't afford a Phillip Lim had bag so thank goodness for Target I now can. I've kept my spending this month to a minimum because I plan on going b-a-n-a-n-a-s for this brand come Sept. 15. I have a couple of handbags in mind along with this BOOM sweater. I'm hoping to get lucky come Sunday. Incase you've been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks check out the collection here your closet's can thank me later.

This weekend I picked up a few things on major sale. Like I really needed to add another button up to my closet but when J.Crew Gingham is on sale you don't think twice. My collection keeps growing with every sale by the end of this year my closet will be 80% button ups. I'm constantly on the look out for pencil skirts, they're perfect basic when it comes to work attire. So when I came across this pencil with the cutest ruffle pockets I fell in love. Two things that I love are pattern and pockets especially when it has the cutest ruffle detail. This weekend the sales were good and my items were even better.

Madewell Gola Sneakers

Today was a great mail day because these puppies came in. I ordered them on Sunday and wow Madewell is not messing around with shipping, thank you Madewell warehouse peeps. I'm always on the hunt for a good pair of shoes whether it's a sandal , pump, bootie or tennis shoes. Since we live in a city that requires A LOT of walking - walking shoes are a must. I wish I was that girl that could wear sandals and not end up with back pain , well I could back in my 20's. Now in my (cough) mid 30's this gal needs support that will allow my legs and back to go the distance. Once I pulled these out of the box  I knew they were the perfect fit. The color was so electric no saturation was used for these photos, they are just that bright pink. I will be testing them out this weekend and from just the few hours I wore them around my house I can tell we are going to get along nicely.

Hello Spring !

Zara dress / Target sandals

Nice to see you again Spring , I've missed you. Even though it's still mid 40's here in Maryland I cannot wait for the warm weather to arrive. I'm over wearing coats, scarfs, and sweaters I need some sun and so does my skin. Pasty central over here, or in my case jaundice central. What are you most excited about this spring? My shopping has slowed down quite a bit of course that doesn't mean I pass up a good deal. I had been eyeing this skirt for the past month and as soon as it went on sale I snagged it up along with the matching top. Good things come to those who wait , that's my first thought whenever I find something that I know will eventually be on sale. Call me cheap or smart - i'm both.
