When I was in high school I went through a scarf phase and I would wear this one floral scarf my Mom gifted me with every outfit. I would mainly tie it around my neck or  around my pony tail. Many years later I still have a thing for scarfs and I am so glad to see more people incorporating them in their outfits. Lately I've been wearing this red scarf around my neck which by the way I picked up at Wal-Mart for $1! Here are some other fun ways on how to wear a scarf.

Everlane has been stepping-up their game this season . I fell in love with them a few years ago when I purchased The Modern Loafer in black - it took a while to break in (note: order a size up) but they are now my go-to loafer. The leather is so soft and the shoe is so chic not your average loafer. I've been wanting to order a few of their basic crew neck tees for the summer but after seeing their winter styles I want one of everything. They turned your basic sweater and loafer and made it simply chic. I'm anxious to see where this four year old brand will go from here. 

Style Inspiration / Madewell's Spring Collection

Madewell Spring is here and I cannot wait to get my hands on some of these pieces. Everything looks so effortlessly chic, very 70's California. Madewell spring looks like it was inspired by Kate Brien from View from the Topp.  If you follow / stalk her on Instagram you will see the comparison and fall in love with her style. Lucky for me California weather means I can wear these looks all year round.  Joyce Lee is bringing it this season and I can't wait. Here are some of my favorite looks.

Spring has arrived and it's about that time to put away chunky sweaters, puffer jackets and the rest of my winter clothing. Now it's time to start adding some new pieces into my spring/summer wardrobe and here is some that are on my list. What's on your spring / summer list ?

With temperatures continuing to drop here in the east coast my outfits are still consisting of sweaters, my favorite Madewell denim and my parka. I really love that Sienna Miller is on the same outfit schedule as I am. This photo made me super excited because my Mansur Gavriel bag is set to arrive on my door step sometime this month , I hope. Back to this outfit, I know it's simple but I just really love this look it's the perfect way to dress up your winter coat especially a parka.
