I've decided to share pieces of my home here on the blog in a series called Home Sweet Home. I would've liked to have shared photos of our last place in Baltimore but the lighting was horrible in that place. Our SoCal place is a different story , we live on the third floor with floor to ceiling windows and this place might as well be on the sun because the light in here is perfection (I'm sure in the summer I won't be to happy about these windows). It took us a few weeks to find this place but luckily after battling it out with a few other prospects we won. There are three things that are hard to find in San Diego two parking spaces, second bathroom and more than 900 sqft. Our place comes with a second parking spot and bathroom however the walls are a light green, my counter tops are black and this place is TINY. We've had to donate a lot of our stuff but this place has definitely helped us get to our goal of a clutter free home. I've spent the past couple of weeks hanging photos, planting a garden and making it home.

Since moving into our loft we've been updating our furniture and trying to redecorate with the help of Pinterest. This month I decided to tackle my desk area. This time around I was looking to create a clutter free space with minimal desk accessories and sticking with an all white theme. My desk area is coming together nicely (seen here) all that's left on my list to buy is a new computer, rug, ottoman and i'm currently building an inspiration wall above my desk.

I love a large wall full of wonderful illustrations, photos and a great bench. Also I've been wanting a Max Wanger photo for my place for quite some time and I will wait no more. Simplicity is what I love in a home especially this white bathroom, with subway tile, and look at that adorable faucet. A-mazing.

Lately we have been on a wine kick, if you follow me on Instagram you would know this by the amount of wine glasses I've posted. When my husband asked me why I was saving them? I wasn't sure what I was going to do with these bright blue bottles, I just knew I didn't want to throw them away. Until last Thursday , I brought home some yellow Pom Pom's and decided to use these blue bottles as vases. I love this color combo. These vases wake up any table or in my case kitchen. All I did was soaked bottles in hot water and labels fell right off , I added flowers and there you have it beautiful pop of color in my kitchen.
