hat/sunnies/swim suit : Target

The weekend started off with storms and lots of rain- what I didn't pack for. Thank goodness Sunday turned my frown upside down. Jumping out of bed Sunday morning and looking out the window seeing sunshine felt like Christmas morning. I started the coffee pot warmed up some muffins and rushed out the door to take in the rays. If you follow me on Instagram your feed was full of pics of me and my sun hat- my apologies. Even though my hair and face wasn't done up wearing this hat transformed me into one of those great hair days or wearing your favorite dress. You know every girl has that one dress that when worn you can't help but snap a bunch of pics because that dress makes
you feel that good.

I've been eyeing these  JCrew shorts since i spotted them in their catalog, but $65 for a pair of shorts seemed a bit much for this gal.  a couple of weeks ago i visited Urban Outfitters and spotted these  in their sale rack however they had sold out of my size but luckly i was able to perchase them online.  today they arrived! i am happy with my purchase - the high waist along with the length will compliment any shape. i cannot wait to wear them this weekend.

Current Crush ...

JCrew 's  gone and done it again... who would have thought that shoes i wore back when i was a youngsta would come back bigger and brighter. what i'm most surprised by is the price -reasonable. i'm still debating if i will be going with chambray or blue stripes. For less than 2- $20's  , 4-$10's, or 160- $0.25 you could own a pair. which do you like? do you Soludos or not? have you purchased a pair ? thoughts?

Hope everyone had a great weekend and all you Mother's out there i hope it was a relaxing day filled with love and laughter. my weekend was pretty relaxing did some shopping and plenty of eating. the countdown to finally reuniting with my husband begins ... 9 more days - that's right "SINGLE" digits.

My Mom, the catholic gave my sister, sister in law and myself these wooden/saint bracelets that were blessed. It's a religious take on arm candy.

My horsin' around top I picked up at H&M. Brought me such joy when it made it's first public apperance at work today.

Sept. 29 marked the 20th anniversary of Nirvana Nevermind album. I remember the first time I heard this cassette I was instantly obsessed. Bummed I will never get to see them in concert.

Shop till I drop

This weekend I went to shop my little heart out at The Shops at La Cantera. This outdoor mall has many wonderful stores and my personal faves Forever 21 , J.Crew and oh yeah they have a Zara . Although I left empty handed at J.Crew and Zara . I made up for it at Forever 21 where I picked up these wonderful pieces. I am very excited about all the color and pattern for this fall I am most excited for all the leopard I am seeing. I still have a couple of pieces I need to get to complete my leopard collection, I am really excited about this leopard jacket I almost passed up. Get familiar with this jacket because you will be seeing it a lot on here. So stay tuned for upcoming posts.

Weekly Obsession

 I just received my J.Crew fall 2011catalog and these are just some of the looks I adored. I don't know about anyone else but I can't be the only one that collects J.Crew catalogs, atleast I hope i'm not.That Jenna Lyons is a genius. These catalogs to me are what anatomy books are to a doctor. No matter what season or what year I can always be inspired. Where do you get inspiration from???

Weekly obsessions

Since it's been storming out for most of the week , I haven't really had a chance to keep up with my tan so I have surrounded myself with things that make my day brighter.

While I was listening to Pandora I came across these Ireland boys known as Two Door Cinema Club - What You Know and was instantly obsessed. I found myself dancing to this song in the kitchen, shower and at work :)  So if you haven't already heard of them then jump on the wagon along with me and dance your heart away.

Fun nail polish- nuff said.

I've been eyeing these shoes for quite some time and finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase. I can't wait to combine these three obsessions for a fun summer night! Happy thursday.
