Traditions are what I enjoy most about any holiday whether its Christmas, Valentines Day or Anniversaries. My husband and I established some from day one and haven't stopped since. The feeling of looking forward to something is so exciting to me so since Christmas is less than 9 weeks away last week one of our traditions kicked off last Friday. A couple of years ago we decided to limit our Christmas gifts and instead splurge when it came time for our anniversary. Since Christmas is my favorite holiday we decided to begin our gift exchange 10 weeks before Christmas. We set an amount neither one of us can exceed and every Friday we exchange gifts, and on Christmas we give each other our final gift which is normally very special. This has been great for us since neither one of us is good at hiding gifts from one another. Since we live away from home we like to make the holidays a little special and exciting.
