Jazz Fest 2012 -NOLA

Jazz Fest kicked off this weekend in New Orleans, LA. my friend katie and i attended this weekend. the weather was great festival weather, the food was an amazing variety of yummy cajun food and drinks. i've attended many festivals and what keeps me coming to jazz fest is the food and the music. the bands ranged this week from Tom Petty, Bon Iver, Beach Boys {w/John Stamos}, Feist and Louisiana's The Givers. the sun was out , the wind was blowing , music coming from every direction, i consumed more than enough food from a yummy crab cake , snow cone, jambalaya not one but two bowls and not to mention my most fave beverage Blue Moon along with my souvenir koozie.

*festival tip #1 : My older brother has been to so many shows , festivals and one thing he does that i now do is : soak a bandana in cold water and wrap it around your neck. 1. it will keep you cool 2. if a dust storm comes in unexpected you can always use to cover your face.
